VDMA of Woodworking Machinery Association visits WEIMA
From June 30 to July 1, 2025, the Verband der Deutschen Maschinenbauer (VDMA) met at WEIMA Maschinenbau GmbH. Under bright sunshine, numerous members from the woodworking machinery sector gathered for the network meeting.

WEIMA would like to take this opportunity to thank you for hosting the 24th working group. The Marketing & Sales working group started under the banner of LIGNA 2025.
The colleagues from Deutschen Messe AG reported on exhibitor space, visitor numbers & plans for 2027. The second day was characterized by interesting presentations on the topics of neuromarketing, residual wood management, a guest lecture on subsidies in the industry and exciting insights into the current situation in the wood processing industry.

Two inspiring days full of exciting insights, constructive discussions and valuable networking: The exchange with the VDMA's Woodworking Machinery Marketing and Sales Working Group in our WEIMA Garage provided numerous impulses for the further development of sales and marketing in the wood industry. In particular, the mix of well-founded specialist presentations, current industry topics and illustrative demonstrations enriched the event in the long term.

After a culinary break – with traditional Swabian dumplings – there was another presentation on the VDMA benchmarks for marketing.
Afterwards, the guests were given a tour of the WEIMA campus. At the same time, machine demonstrations took place in the technical center, where the WEIMA machines were demonstrated.
